How long has the sun been burning? How long has the Earth been turning?

The Universe is about 13 Billion years old. The Earth is about 5 Billion years old. Humans in our present form have been on the earth for about 200000 years. The concepts pertaining to gods and religious beliefs are somewhere around the 100000 year mark. Monotheism is at best 10000 years old. The character known as God had existed for about 8000 years. Christianity is 2000 years old. In the centuries since Jesus time science, technology, understanding etc has expanded exponentially, and really only in the last few centuries have we achieved so much knowledge. We as a species have only started to realise our potential. We will be on this journey for a long time yet.
