My hair is realy frizzy!!?

okay so my hairline hairs are so crunchy and frizzy!!! like they are brittle and coarse. whenever i pull a strand of hair from my hair line i can tell that its not smooth. like it is straightish from the roots but then it has rigdes and indents. like idk how to explain it. Like if i were to put a stand under a microscope i would see that the strand is thick and all of a sudden there are parts that are really thin like they are missing protien or something , why is my hair like that and if you get what i mean tell me and how do i fix it
