Monster Hunter Freedom Unite question?

Can you get a shocktrap from your felynes in the kitchen? Long story why I'm asking i just really need to know. If anyone has teh answer please please tell me. I randomly got a shocktrap(well, just randomly noticed that i had one) but didnt make it, or buy it, and the only other thing it could be is that i got it from my felynes, that or the game is glitching.
