Why can't we just make more money?or use the money we are making?

Hi there so you know the way every country has factories that make money? for example here in ireland im pretty sure they are called 'Mint' factories. What i just cant understand is how brand new notes and coins are made every day, and since we are in such a depressing recession , why is it that we cant just use the ******* money that is being churned out of those factories ? There has to be some sort of justifiable reason why we cannot do this , is there? i know it has something to do with the euro(or whatever currency) would lose its value , but why does value have to come in to it when ppl's quality of life is going down? shouldn't it be ''oh we need more money.. lets use more of the money we are making'' or something like that! lol..Anyway i would love an understandable explaination for this.
