How many jobs are available in social science fields?

I have always been interested in politics, government, and history. I have just researched item after item, after item about how politics in the United States effect other nations, and vice versa, and how mistakes have been made. The thing is, I dont really know how that knowledge can really help me. I am really good at just talking and communicating so I have thought about looking into human resources. But I am really small (5'3) and cannot make anything with my hands worth ****. I actually quit working at a workhouse when I was 16 because I kept pissing off my manager because I couldnt do half of the lifting. So what can I do with the knowledge that I have? My counselor in high school has basically given me no direction. Thanks
